A bit of blurb...
M-JAY was founded by me, Maddie Jarvis, an artist and designer from the (occasionally) sunny coast of Cornwall. I started making jewellery from my bedroom in 2024 after one quiet evening shopping for some new jewellery and struggling to find something that felt like me. Consequently, I embarked on a DIY mission with the belief it would be easy. Of course, as most things that I set out to do, it was not. I know many of you will relate to the delusion and blind faith when getting excited about an idea. Some call it delusion, I prefer blind confidence. I fell in love with wax casting instantly and it has been the epicentre of my life ever since.
Inspiration never came as an issue, if it’s not too “pick me” to say, I think if anything I struggled to filter through the boatload of ideas flooding my brain, fuelled by the excitement of my new hobby. However, I’ve always been obsessed with the art of movement and the quiet inspiration that surrounds us when we step outside. There’s so much unique beauty in nature if we just pause and take a moment to notice it. So finding my own creative style came with the realisation that everything I’m drawn to stems from the world around me. And as a lover of streetwear-inspired jewellery, lots of what I create has become a fusion of chunky, firm shapes and organic textures.
At its heart, M-JAY is about creating art you can wear anywhere- jewellery that carries a story, a sense of movement, and the energy of the outside world. I hope you enjoy wearing these lovingly made pieces as much as I love creating them.

HALLMARKING AND ASSAY
All castings from M-JAY are made from 100% recycled sterling silver. Each piece is stamped with a legal hallmark as well as my personal MJ stamp (see below).
